Wehebe Darge joins CBR Brave
Monday, April 24, 2017 - Submitted by CBR Brave

Wehebe Darge has announced his intention to join the CBR Brave for the 2017 AIHL season.

Darge comes to the Brave after multiple seasons of high scoring both domestically and internationally. Currently playing for the Peterborough Phantoms in the English Premier Ice Hockey League, Wehebe has accumulated 41 points in 47 games to be one of the leading point scorers in his team. Prior to England, Wehebe has played in Finland, USA and Belgium.

Darge earlier this year joined Kai Miettinen and Matti Luoma (Asst Coach) on the Australian National Team in Romania for the Division 2A world titles. Darge has been a strong contributor for the Mighty Roos, racking up 40 points in 25 games.

Darge will reach his 150th AIHL game milestone this season after a long career with the Adelaide Adrenaline. At 1.43 points per game average over an 8 year career this makes Wehebe one of the strongest offensive players in the league.

Wehebe will join the Brave lineup in early June.
